Note: The Christ-Centered Phonics program is founded on Scripture and its principles. We use a multi-sensory teaching methodology to ensure that all types of learners---auditory, visual, and "hands on"---achieve success. If taught properly, it is not uncommon for K4s (4-year-olds) to be able to read at a first grade level by the end of the school year. K5s or B1st (5-year-olds/Beginning 1st Graders) students can usually read at a second or third grade level after one year's schooling. Children having had two or more years of Christ-Centered Phonics/Reading often read at third grade level, or higher---some have even scored at seventh or eighth grade. The early readers in this section are listed according to a recommended reading sequence that coincides with the introductory order of the Christ-Centered Phonics Lessons for Flashcards 1-31, 32-66, 67-93, and 94-118. However, to avoid pushing your child, or holding him back, you should adjust the pacing according to individual God-given capabilities.
