Why do we believe that Christ-Centered Math is the best foundation possible?In contrast to tacking on a Bible verse here and there to basically secular materials, our unique program is derived from mathematical truths rooted in Scripture plus excellent teaching techniques. Since math is truth, it is something you can always rely on. So we hope you will enjoy the concreteness of math---and pass that joy on to your children as they learn about God's number system!

In addition, a definite PLUS to our program is that as students study math concepts they will also be learning to develop these godly character qualities: generosity, flexibility, loyalty, orderliness, courage, decisiveness, joyfulness, responsibility, endurance, and determination. In both Math Level A and B, every lesson contains character training tips for children (and parents) to better understand how to develop these qualities:

CHRIST-CENTERED MATH LEVEL A

Part 005 (Christ-Centered Math Level A)
Recommended for 4's (K4), 5's (K5), beginning 1st graders (B1st), or older children who are just starting their math instruction.

NOTE: For a very young 4-year-old, you may wish to just teach math concepts a couple of days per week, but work on reinforcing the character training tips associated with the 1-10 Math Flashcards on a daily basis. The following school year, continue teaching whatever remains in Level A until the 1-10 addition/subtraction facts are known well before proceeding to Level B.

Skills Covered: Number concepts 1-20; number recognition 0-100; counting to 100 by 1's, 10's, and 5's; counting backwards from 20-0; counting by 2's to 100; missing numbers in sequence 0-100 (by 1's, 10's, 5's, 2's); greater than/less than 0-100; addition facts 1-10; adding multiple numbers (e.g., 3+2+4+1); subtraction facts 1-10; and simple addition/subtraction word problems.
